Special Properties:
This is a must have for poison ivy sufferers. The perfect thing to take on your next camping trip or just to have around the house in the summer. Our Jewelweed soap is unscented and mild. It's perfect for children and adults. Some customers have reported that this soap helped with lots of skin issues like eczema, rashes, and bug bites.
Our Jewelweed Soap is handmade from beautiful organic hand harvested Jewelweed. It grows wild on our land here in Kentucky. While the Jewelweed is fresh we clean it, and infuse it in pure olive oil. We only use fresh Jewelweed in this creation because dried Jewelweed is not effective. This means that we only have a few months out of the year to harvest the Jewelweed and infuse the oil. So, when we sell out this soap, it's gone until nature replenishes our supply. This soap contains Bentonite clay which removes impurities.
The Soap:
Our cold process soaps are made of coconut and olive oil. They are made in small batches of around 9 bars. The oils create a lot of lather, are gentle on the skin, and will leave you feeling clean all over. We never use artificial colorants, parabens, petroleum, silicone, SLS, musks, phthalates, or other such nasties in any of our creations.
Approximate weight: 4 oz.
To ensure your soap will last as long as possible, please allow it to air dry between uses. (think of it as a fine wine, it needs to breathe.)
